Discovering the Natural Elegance of Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre: Jonathan & Jenn’s Whistler Wedding Venue
Jonathan and Jenn’s wedding at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler was a stunning success. Despite initial predictions from the planner that the night wouldn’t go beyond a certain hour, the DJ kept the majority of the crowd until the very end of the night with a perfect balance of music for both the older and younger generations. All night long, guests couldn’t help but comment on the electric energy in the atmosphere all throughout the day. Our DJ was made to feel part of the family as guests used his first name and interacted with him as well. While the night was magical, there were a couple of bumps in the road, including an accident on the highway that delayed some of the vendors’ arrival, and later the DJ discovered that gas stations shut down after midnight in Whistler! Even so, it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for the lovely couple, and the SLCC provided the ideal venue for the occasion.

How Did Jenn and Jonathan Feel About Airwaves Music
“DJ Chris was our wedding DJ and MC, and he was amazing! Several of our guests asked us if he was a friend of ours because he brought such a warm and fun energy to the whole evening! The music was great, the party was bumping, and Airwaves was easy to work with through the planning process. Highly recommended!”
Reviews like this motivate us to work even harder to provide the best possible experience for each and every couple. Knowing that we were able to make the night memorable and special for the newlyweds and that their guests enjoyed themselves as well brings us immense joy. It’s our passion and pleasure to provide top-notch DJ and MC services and to ensure that every detail of the night is perfect. The Wedding Playlist
From soulful romantic classics like “You Are The Best Thing” and “Stand By Me” to nostalgic early 00s throwbacks like “More Than A Woman” and “Crazy In Love”, and let’s not forget timeless pop classics like “Thinking Out Loud” and “Marry You”, their guests were on their feet all night long thanks to these crowd-pleasing favorites. For fans of modern hip-hop, the song “Woman” by Doja Cat is an exciting addition to the playlist. And who can resist iconic rock hits like “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie? Lastly, to add a unique spark to the party, consider adding “Africa” by Toto to the mix. With the perfect combination of genres, their wedding was undoubtedly the talk of the town. It was an unforgettable night that the couple and their guests will remember for a lifetime!
