We Met The Real McLovin’
In 2012 we were hired to DJ a beautiful wedding downtown. It turned out it was the real life “Mclovin” who the Superbad movie character was based on. Many of the movies stars were at the wedding and we weren’t allowed to take any photos. Mclovin even kind of looked like the movie character.
Top Secret Pool Parties
Airwaves was hired to help with the Westin Robson’s pop-up pool party for a season. Weekly throughout the summer the pool was converted into a lounge where anyone, including non-hotel guests could come for a swim, some drinks and a live DJ on the patio.
We’re Tough!
We were contacted by Tough Mudder, the adventure race, a few years ago. They asked us to provide two DJs and a 5 piece band for their 15,000 person post-event concert. It’s not every day we get to perform to so many exhausted, mud covered people and it was definitely a memorable event!
