Since we founded the company in 2009, two members of Airwaves have been consistently there, no matter what, Bob Graham and Les Darroux. Les and Bob originally met through a mutual friend, John Bird (another Airwaves Music Kelowna DJ), and have been working together ever since. The two founded the company with the idea of creating a higher level of professionalism than they had seen anywhere else in the industry. Basically, they saw two kinds of DJs that were the status-quo and they wanted to create a new, 3rd time. The existing DJs were either over-the-top cheesy or over-the-top expensive. Usually they were both. When Bob and Les started the company together, they knew for sure that they could fill an existing gap in the market by providing DJs with both style and class who would play the music their clients wanted while keeping their guests dancing.
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to ask Les a few questions. Les not only consistently got 5 star reviews, but he also was always a pleasure for Bob to work with.
