We had Ryan as our DJ, and he was amazing. Dealing with Airwaves as a company was easy and we set everything up quickly. We met with Ryan who seemed to just understand us and our style. We took advantage of the ‘must play’, and ‘do not play’ lists, filling them to the max number of songs. From there on Ryan added some amazing tracks, including some really obscure songs that I LOVE and never even expected him to know. It was a really great time, we will be back if we need a DJ again.
Darcy and I are so grateful for your services at our Kelowna beach wedding ceremony in July. We live in Calgary and did the majority of our planning over the phone and via email. Even though we ran into a few glitches with our wedding day – circumstances beyond our control – Airwaves was one thing that was amazing! Anira’s customer service was top notch. DJ Les was a gem! And wow, what a smile! Also, our choice for the processional was a mantra rather than a traditional wedding march, and Airwaves assured us it would not be a problem even if they didn’t have it in their collection at that time.
From the very beginning, Airwaves provided quick responses, professionalism and were budget conscious/friendly. I originally wasn’t going to hire a DJ as our wedding budget was extremely tight, but I am SO glad I did, and they worked with me to make sure it was something I could afford. I absolutely recommend Airwaves! DJ Quinn did an outstanding job at our reception, was extremely flexible with our requests and after getting to know my dad a bit, took a sweet photo of my parents dancing to Remember When – my dad was so happy!! Choosing a DJ was the thing I was most nervous about. My biggest fears were people not liking the food, and people not dancing/having fun. Really wanted a great DJ who would be able to read the crowd and keep people on the dance floor. The Airwaves team was great to work with. They listened to what we wanted and matched us up with a great DJ that specialized the style of music we most wanted. They were very easy to deal with and most importantly everyone loved the music! People were coming up to us all night saying how awesome he was, and we literally had to kick people off the dance floor at the end of the night.
Our experience with airwaves was amazing! From the very start airwaves made it easy And stress free . Our DJ kept the party going from start to finish! The program they use to pick your music and timeline is very user friendly and the DJ executed our plan exactly the way we wanted. If we ever had any questions during the planning process the team at airwaves was very quick to answer them . We were lucky enough to get paired up with Beau for our wedding DJ. I’ve never seen a dance floor be that packed with people for an entire night, it was a blast! He did a great job of reading the room and seemed to know just what to play to keep everyone up and dancing. We have very little direction in regards to what kind of music we wanted but he got it just right. It didn’t matter if you were 20 or 70, everyone had a fantastic time thanks to Beau.
As a bride all you want is for someone to come in and completely handle everything in a professional manner…and that what airwaves did. From initial consultation to song selections to set up, they were helpful, easy to deal with and a pleasure on our big day.
Airwaves Music was a pleasure to deal with. From the start point of their questionnaire (keeping you organized) to the end point, they were not only responsive to any questions that I had, but they also ask me questions I didn’t even think of. They catered to exactly what I wanted and everybody at my wedding had a blast. The DJ I had went out of his way to create a custom mix for the dance we had.
