A Night Out In Kamloops
Not being from Kamloops, i don’t exactly have the inside track on a way to kill one of my weekends there. However, Kamloops does resemble a lot of other British Columbia cities. Not in the way it’s laid out and its geographic features, but more so in the things to do. A lot of outdoor activities are available, which include the standard hiking trails and golf for those who are into it. But what happens when the weather starts to drop, and the season turns into a mandatory coat season?
Kamloops, unlike Vancouver has an array of somewhat empty land in its immediate surroundings. Corn mazes and various types of fairs find themselves taking place in this fall season thats upon us. Ive learned from my experience in the WHL that the Kamloops Blazers games are a viable option as well. With a typical three hour timeline behind the games, its not a bad option that could include grabbing dinner, going to the game, then grabbing a night cap… or 5, after that. I have also learned that the Tim Hortons Brier will take place in this valley city, and should that tickle your fancy, it looks like you have a good week in front of you. As I learn more about Kamloops and what a typical night entails I will be sure to build upon the knowledge I have written upon.
