Dear Airwaves Customers Affected By COVID-19,

Oh boy do we feel for you right now… Planning a wedding or event is tough enough as it is without a global pandemic in the picture. We can only imagine what you must be feeling. The disappointment, the frustration, the uncertainty. The wish for it all to just go away so that you can have that incredible party you have been working so long and hard to plan.

Not to mention the economic and health concerns that many are experiencing. Our biggest hope is that you and your family and friends are safe and healthy right now.

As DJs our favourite part of working with amazing clients like you is the moment we get to start the dance floor at your event and play the very first song. That’s the moment that all of your loved ones rush to the floor, hands in the air, jumping, laughing, dancing and smiling along with you. This moment is incredible because you can feel the energy, excitement and joy in the room.

As DJs we live for this and sadly it’s unknown exactly when we will be able to create special moments like these for our clients again.

In light of this unprecedented situation we have thought long and hard about the best way to support all of our customers affected by COVID-19 while also protecting our team and ensuring that our company weathers this storm and is able to create incredible moments for our customers for years to come. Our commitment is to do everything we can to give you the options and flexibility you need to navigate your event planning during this challenging time.

With this in mind we have drafted the following policies for those who have been affected by COVID-19 and must make tough decisions regarding their event in the coming months. Please note that we may revise or add to these policies in the future as this situation continues to unfold.

If you are thinking about postponing due to COVID-19…

We will gladly postpone your existing booking and will waive all postponement fees for you.

If you need more time to decide…

We will extend the deadline to postpone your existing booking from 6 weeks before your original booking to 4 weeks before your original booking.

If you decide to postpone but don’t have a date yet…

We will extend the deadline to apply your retainer to a new booking from 12 months to 18 months after your original booking date.

If you decide to postpone and have a date in mind…

We will gladly work with you to get your new date finalized. Please contact us before finalizing your new date so that we can confirm availability and details. Please note that we will not be held responsible for not being available on your desired date if you failed to check with us before finalizing your new date.

If you would like to reschedule to 2022…

We have pre-reserved an unlimited number of off-season Saturdays, and an unlimited number of Sunday – Friday dates for those affected by COVID-19 and will gladly work with you to find the date that works best for you. 

If you would like to reschedule to a Peak Season Saturday in 2022…

We have pre-reserved a limited number of Peak Season Saturday dates for those affected by COVID-19. These dates will be available on a first come, first serve basis and will have all rate increases and additional charges waived.  

If you would like to reschedule to a Peak Season Saturday in 2022 and all pre-reserved spots have been taken…

No problem, as long as regular availability remains we can accommodate your request to reschedule to a Peak Season Saturday date for an additional $500 booking fee.

If you would like to cancel your booking altogether…

We will gladly keep your retainer on file for up to 18 months, or you can also transfer or sell your retainer to someone else who is booking an event of equal or greater value.
