Sean Jones has been a huge fan of music for as long as he can remember. Originally born in Tokyo, he grew up in Kelowna, British Columbia where he discovered a true passion for the guitar. Playing in bands and song writing throughout high school, he decided to take his love of music to next level in London, Ontario where he obtained a diploma in Fanshawe College’s highly regarded Music Industry Arts Program. There, he acquired knowledge of audio engineering and the music business from seasoned veterans, including Juno Award winning sound engineer, Kevin Doyle and the late record producer, Jack Richardson.

Following his time in Ontario, Sean then returned to B.C. and developed an interest in business. He recently obtained a marketing diploma from Camosun College and found the perfect opportunity to combine his two passions with Airwaves Music. He currently manages the company’s operations in Victoria and is extremely proud to represent such a talented and professional team of DJ’s and musicians. Aside from his job, Sean enjoys keeping physically active and takes great pleasure in exploring Vancouver Island’s beautiful surroundings.
