August 23, 2025 — Audrey and Shawn’s wedding at Koerner’s Pub on the UBC campus in Vancouver was a celebration to remember. From the ceremony at 4:00 PM to the final song after midnight, the energy never dipped. With our DJ Kalani behind the decks, the night flowed effortlessly: every moment hit its mark, the requests kept coming, and the dance floor stayed full right up to last call. By the end of the night the couple were beaming, and so was everyone lucky enough to share the day with them.

Audrey and Shawn curated a soundtrack that carried the celebration from the first beat to the last. Their grand entrance set the tone instantly, sliding into Dua Lipa’s infectious groove, while their first dance brought the room to a hush with a timeless Van Morrison classic. The family dances struck the perfect emotional note, blending nostalgia and heart before the party truly kicked off.

Behind the music for the night was our very own DJ Kalani, who kept the celebration moving from the grand entrance to the last dance. Kalani read the room beautifully, leaning into Audrey and Shawn’s song requests and keeping the energy high all evening. When we checked in afterward, Kalani summed up the night simply: everything went smoothly, and the couple were happy right to the end. The biggest magic moment? Playing the songs Audrey and Shawn had hand-picked, and watching the floor light up every time.
