Originally from Alberta and now based in the Okanagan, Gordon Edwards is an open-format DJ known for energetic, crowd-focused sets that blend classic house, Top 40 hits, and timeless party anthems spanning the ’90s, 2000s, and 2010s. With a background that includes country music and other crowd favorites, Gordon brings a versatile approach that keeps dance floors full and the energy building throughout the night.

He was so great to work with leading into the event, with editing our first dance song and providing great music suggestions. He also connected with out cinematographer and us before the ceremony started to ensure the ceremony went smoothly, and lastly for keeping the dance floor bumping all night long!
He was so helpful for our wedding coordinator as well, going the extra mile and being flexible throughout the day to assist where possible. We can’t say enough great things about Chris and the team at Airwaves Music.

Chris DJ’d at my wedding and could not have done a better job! He was amazing at reading the crowd and making sure he played something for everyone. He was extremely engaging the entire time. He had a great sense of humour and played specific songs after jokes which was hilarious! He’s definitely not someone who just presses play on a playlist and then ignores you. He was part of the party and ensured that everyone had a great time until the very end! I was amazed by how many people stayed until the very end and I credit that to him!
I would absolutely recommend Chris for anyone who wants to have a great time at their event!
